Japanese Fans - Japanese paper fans are sometimes known as (harisen), made of paper on a bamboo frame, usually with a design painted on them. In addition to folding fans called (ōgi) - the non-bending fans are called (uchiwa).

The woods used for kokeshi vary, with cherry used for its darkness and dogwood for its softer qualities.
Itaya-kaede, a Japanese maple, is also used in the creation of both traditional and creative dolls.
The wood is left outdoors to season for one to five years before it can be used.

Bobblehead - also known as a nodder, wobbler or bobble head, is a type of collectible toy. Its head is often oversized compared to its body. Instead of a solid connection, its head is connected to the body by a spring or hook in such a way that a light tap will cause the head to bobble, hence the name.
