Bright and colourful Royal Doulton trinket with gilt edging.
Scene shows cottages, countryside with trees, grass, flowers and water all in bright distinct colours of bright green, blue, brown, yellow and pinks.
Handcrafted and hand painted to perfection.
Mark on the underside includes Royal Doulton England mark plus a mini windmill scene.
Also shows name of series: Summertime in England D.6131 Regd in Australia.
This number D.6131 dates the piece around 1940.
This is an unusual and lovely old vintage piece - very collectible.
